Judging the first round proved to be easily as tough as 2007 for our two judges, Neven Sidor and Dirk Krolikowski

An initial shortlist of 46 was drawn up, from which the two winners and two runners-up for the Northern Lights Observatory were selected. To find out exactly who made the successful submissions, you will need to go to Shortlist Gallery. As you would expect, there were plenty of designs that caught the judges’ eye. For those that came closest, some comments have been posted in the review section on the shortlist gallery.
DON’T FORGET Brief 2 is open, so why not visit the “judging” page to see if you can pick up any tips and get underway with a new interchange building.
