Line of Site looks to ensure all submissions are examined by the strongest possible panel of judges. All our judges came with very strong architectural (and in some cases, engineering) credentials, and we are very grateful for their donating time and expertise throughout the length of the competition.

We do try to ensure that consistency is achieved by having judges from previous competitions involved. For this year’s first brief, Neven Sidor of Grimshaw brought not only his vast wealth of architectural experience, but also a detailed understanding of this unique competition from his judging of Everest Base Camps (2006/7) and the Line of Site Grand Final. Dirk Krolikowski is judging Line of Site for the first time. An Associate at Rogers Stirk Harbour, Dirk is very familiar with the most demanding of architectural challenges.
